TCN (Techniques Chimiques Nouvelles) has updated its product line for the optical industry. Now, powder formulas are even more effective and safer.

New: CRX-Th is now available in powder form

Previously available only in liquid form, CRX-Th therapeutic dyes are now available in powder form. They are specially designed to create chromatic filters that block wavelengths in the 400–600 nm range.

Advantages of the new formula:

Speed: Coloring occurs faster, increasing productivity.
Safety: The formulations do not contain irritants or harmful substances (CMR-free).
Convenience: Available in 500 g, 5 kg, and 10 kg packages. The powder is easily diluted to form a ready-to-use solution.

A range for different applications:

CRX powders: A basic line for CR39® lenses (index 1.50). Over 30 colors can be mixed to create custom shades.
PCL4: Liquid dyes for uncoated polycarbonate (sports, protection). Coloring mode: 85°C, 2-20 minutes.

Coloring process (using PCL4 as an example):

Heat water to 85°C.
Add colorant (1 part to 9 parts water).
Immerse the lens for 2-20 minutes, depending on the desired intensity.
Rinse with warm water.

Instructions for use: Mix 1 liter of clean water with 35 g of powder, heat to 92°C (±2°C), stir evenly at a constant temperature for 10 minutes, and soak the lens. Before tinting, treat the lens with ultraviolet light.
